Baileigh MPS-2 Throatless Shear — 10-Gauge Mild-Steel Capacity in a 36 lb Bench Unit

The MPS-2 is a manual throatless shear built around a cast-iron frame and a 4.25" curved blade. Throatless means there's no fixed C-frame in the way of the work — the base guides the cut waste off to the side, so you can swing a full panel through the blade or follow a curve without stopping to trim.

The 10-gauge mild-steel capacity is the workhorse spec — heavier than the body-panel and trim gauges most entry shears top out at, light enough to be the everyday shear in a fab shop, restoration garage, school, or hobby workspace. 10-gauge mild covers structural sheet around 1/8", heavier brackets, motorsport chassis panels, and the medium-duty cutting that sits between sheet-metal and plate work.
