Manual Tube & Pipe Benders
A manual tube and pipe bender shapes tube and pipe by hand — you pull the handle, the die does the work. No compressor, no power, nothing to plug in. That makes a manual bender the natural starting point for a shop bending occasionally rather than all day: handrail and railing work, a roll cage or chassis project, or a workshop bringing tube bending in-house for the first time.
STM carries manual benders from Woodward-Fab, Baileigh, Pro-Tools, and Eastwood, from $359 to $3,499. The Eastwood High Capacity bender and Woodward-Fab WFB2 open the range for occasional and hobby work; the Pro-Tools 105 Series and Baileigh RDB-25 step up in build and die selection for regular fabrication; and the Baileigh RDB-050 and RDB-100 anchor the top for the heaviest manual work. The Pro-Tools 105 Series and the Baileigh RDB-100 are built in the USA — worth weighing if domestic manufacturing matters to your shop. Most manual machines bolt to a bench or stand and run a die set matched to your tube or pipe diameter.
When hand-bending becomes the bottleneck, the same bend gets easier under power. If you're running tube often enough that effort is the limit, step up to the hydraulic tube benders — same kind of work, with a ram doing the pulling. Not sure whether a manual bender suits your volume? Call us on 855 605 4599 and we'll talk it through.
