Handheld Planishing Hammers

Handheld planishing hammers give you the power of a pedestal planishing hammer in a tool you can hold one-handed and use on the panel — on or off the vehicle. The benefit is reach: pedestal hammers max out at their throat depth, but a handheld can work anywhere you can reach with the tool.

STM stocks handheld planishing hammers from ProLine (the 90-120-60 and 180-90 models), Eckold (the GL2 Max kit), and Coachsmithing (the OX series — Original and Heavy Duty). All are pneumatic and run on shop air.

Handheld hammers also give you the flexibility to work on the bench in whatever position fits the panel — instead of having to bring the panel to the pedestal, you bring the hammer to the work.
